Inviting feedback on mini site for our new short

Dear All,

We at Coffee Films in the UK have just wrapped shooting on our new short How To Disappear Completely and are currently editing it for festival entries.

We have also opened a mini website to help promote and act as a kind of online press pack, and would appreciate any feedback or comments anyone may have; did you like the site? Did it load quickly? Did it give a good overview of the film? Does it need other stuff? Incidentally there are no clips online as yet but they will be added once editing has advanced some more.

It's a nice site (loaded quickly and it's easy to follow).

The film looks and sounds very interesting (and I love the shot on the poster). That is one I'd definitely like to see.Congrats.

The website works great, it helps make the film look more professional.

Definetly try and get a version of the film up on the internet. The idea of the film is great and some of the images on the site really made me curious.

Is the title of the film inspired by the radiohead song or is that just a coincidence?

Thanks for the positive comments.

I'm not sure if the song directly inspired the title (it was the writer's choice), but he was aware of it; the original screenplay had the Radiohead song listed as desired soundtrack, though we're planning to use Aqualung's "Strange and Beautiful" now.

If you want an original piece of music there are a bunch of composers who visit this board who are always interested in getting work.
Theres been three or four posts from different ones in the last month alone.

Much as I love Radiohead they have that Portishead like ability to turn whatever mood you're in into a quiet, introspective, and ultimately suicidal one!

Thanks everyone for the comments and feedback we'll let the board know about downloads and screenings of the short.

We're also always very happy to hear the work of composers and keep a large file of CDs and websites; our next short "Dealer" has a storming soundtrack by a collection of composers gathered up via the net, Aqualung were just the right one for this film; all composers though, feel free to send weblinks or introductions to [email protected] as well, we'll always reply!
